Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar, an Indian-born British American musician and sitarist is best known for her musical talents. She's the smallest woman and was the first person to receive an official British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Sitar Shankar, an Indian young sitar singer. She is a student and child of Ravi Shankar. She was a child who bounded between London to New Delhi. Her debut performance was in New Delhi when she was thirteen years old. Later the same year, in Encinitas CA she attended high school and graduated with distinction in 1999. Anouskha still has a promising music and acting career, even though she's young. Her father has been with her on numerous occasions for several years. Her first solo album, Anourag, was released in 1998. In 2002, she debuted her Grammy Nominated Live At Carnegie Hall. In addition to performing in many of the biggest venues as well, she has an extensive stage presence. Anoushka Shankar's career is not only limited to the music industry. Also, she has been in the role of. in the 2003 movie Dance Like a Man, where she played the role of a Bharat dancer in the form of a young girl. Anoushka shankar is a rising celebrity and her popularity will keep on growing. Anoushka was born in England however, she spent the majority of her youth split between London and Delhi. She then moved to California and enrolled in high school. at the age of nine, she started studying music alongside her father. Her first performance with the Sitar took place during her birthday celebrations for her 75th birthday in Delhi, four years after. Anoushka had the opportunity to acquire numerous valuable experience by accompanying her dad during his worldwide tour. It included performances at Carnegie Hall and at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD concerts in addition to recording alongside George Harrison. She was the youngest and sole female winner of the House of Commons Shield awarded by the British Parliament to recognize her talent and musical ability as a leading musician of in the Asian Arts.
